Google Became Evil?

Google Evil?

Google Evil?

Most of you already know that Google’s motto is “DON’T BE EVIL”. However, they are evil, why? This post will explain.

To promote my items on eBay I decided to use Google Adwords. I opened and account, submitted campaign and payment information. Everything was great the keywords and ads were approved or so they said. My daily budget was a total of $20.00 and $0.5 keyword bid.

Next day when I checked my campaign, I found that there were no clicks and no impressions of my ads. When I pointed my cursor to the keyword window I found that my keywords were not showing and it was asking me to contact support, which I did right away to resolve this problem.

The following day I received an email from Adwords support. They wrote that my account is under review and will be reviewed very shortly. Here is a copy of the email.

“Hello Ronald,

Thank you for your email. I understand you’re concerned about your ads visibility. It appears your account is under review, which may be the reason for this issue. We periodically review accounts for security purposes and to verify billing information. I’ll consult a specialist team regarding the status of the review and will provide you with an update shortly. I sincerely appreciate your patience.

A day after, I received another email and this is what they wrote:

“Hello Ronald,

Thank you for your email. I understand that you are unable to see your ad.

After reviewing your account, it has come to our attention that your Google AdWords accounts do not comply with our Terms and Conditions. As a result, your accounts have been suspended, and your ads will no longer run on Google.

To view our Terms and Conditions, please visit https://adwords.google.com/select/tsandcsfinder. We appreciate your cooperation.

After reading this email I posted another comment on the forum which was deleted by the forum moderators right away.

I tried to call Google Help Line, 1 866 2-Google. There are only three people working, and one of who I talked to wasn’t very helpful or pleasant. They couldn’t tell me why my account was suspended or what I did wrong.

For billing I used my VISA card, which Google Adwords charged $5 and $1 for authorization.

After a 3 day research, I found that most people who open a new account have the same problem. Google has so many advertisers right now, that they don’t need anymore competitors, because they can’t support it. Many advertisers changed from Adwords to Yahoo marketing or MSN Ad center. There is less traffic, but they are not “EVIL”. Also there are a bunch of other PPC companies, for example 7Search.com, ASK.com which I’ve used and recommend.

If you want to loose money and your time, and become depressed and frustrated, go ahead and try Google Adwords.  If there is someone who has opened a new account and has a better success with Google Adwords please let me know in the comments. Also, if you want to let others know about this, post this link on your blog or site.

I loved Google and still do. However, my goal is to try to change Google if it’s possible and want to let them know that they are not doing there job and not making people have a successful experience using their services.

Thanks for reading this post.

Here is what I posted.. BEWARE!!! Total scam! I’m sure this will also get deleted and I’ll get the same response that my account will be suspended!

Ok… So it’s been a FEW days now and Google Adwords have still not started my Adwords ad. They send me a $150 credit to try their “system” but make me pay $10 to start it AND tell me I’ve only got 15 days to use the $150 credit. So do they plan on starting my account after the 15 days? Not a very good way to keep happy customers that want to keep coming back. Either my Adwords ad needs to start running tomorrow or I want my $10 credited back to my credit card. This seems more like a scam. What a crock! Honestly, I bet they will tell me it’s going through the approval process and it will get approved AFTER the 15 days is up and the $150 credit they gave me will no longer we useful. Because then they at least get my $10. Add that up between all the others like me that have fallen for this and they are getting rich!! I usually stay away from this sort of thing… Silly me for getting sucked in!

Thanks for post. Same thing in Russia. No one can’t open account now. I don’t know what happened with adwords. Hope this will end soon.

  4. I paid $50 on June 17th, my campaign is all green, valid, approved and no clicks, no impressions. Same bullshit. I’ve posted on the forum, sent emails — it’s all fruitless. They tout this great reputation, but they suck ass.
